CAROL HASSELBACHER JOINS RMC PHARMACEUTICAL
SOLUTIONS
New senior consultant, Carol Hasselbacher, brings leadership,
experience, and technical skills in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical
product development and commercialization.
Longmont, Colorado – November 10, 2008 - RMC Pharmaceutical
Solutions, Inc. announced that Carol Hasselbacher, PhD, has
joined the company as a Senior Consultant.
Dr. Hasselbacher’s experience encompasses research and
development of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical product
candidates and participation in the successful global commercialization
of a number of biotechnology products.
Dr. Hasselbacher received her PhD in Chemistry/Biophysics
in 1986 from the University of Denver, Denver, Colorado and
completed a postdoctoral fellowship in biophysics at Albert
Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. From 1988-1994
she served on the faculty of the Department of Biochemistry
at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, New York, using
biophysical methods to elucidate structures of blood coagulation
proteins. From 1994 to 2001 she was employed at Chiron
Corporation as a Senior Scientist, responsible for analytical
development and quality control testing for a number of commercial
and clinical products and serving as the principal regulatory
expert for one of Chiron's licensed drugs. In
2001 Dr. Hasselbacher joined Amgen, Inc., and for six years
worked in various capacities in site and corporate Quality
organizations. During this period
she fulfilled multiple responsibilities including direction
of quality control and product quality functions, along with
the development of global product regulatory and commercialization
strategies.
