Note: you will need to use Internet Explorer 6 and up to download the verifier.

Go to www.arx.com/support/downloads.php.

1. Under CoSign Verifier version 4.4.2, click on "here” to download the verifier.

2. Look for the Internet Explorer Information Bar near the top of your Web browser.

Note: If the installation does not start automatically, or if no messages appear in the Information Bar menu, you will need to use the Alternate Installation Method described below.

3. Right-click the Information Bar and click Install / Run ActiveX Control in the menu.

4. In the Security Warning window pop up, click on the Install button to begin the CoSign Verifier installation process.

Alternate CoSign Verifier Installation Method

Depending on your version of windows, the Web browser you are using, or your browser security setting, you may not see the Internet Explorer Information Bar displayed in your browser, or the Information Bar may not include the Install ActiveX Control or Run ActiveX control commands. In this scenario, click on the button named "Alternate Installation Method" and in the window that pops up, click Run.

The alternate installation method is for use in situations where the Windows version, Web browser, or browser security setting do not display the Internet Explorer Information Bar; or the Information Bar displayed does not include the Install ActiveX Control or Run ActiveX control command options.

Upon clicking on Run in the Security Warning dialog box, the following actions will take place.

1. The installation program will automatically download a utility that will manually initiate the CoSign verifier installation.

2. When prompted, click Run to run this program from its current location, or Save to save the program locally.
   
   Note: If you have selected Save, then Run the installation program from the saved location.

3. The screen to follow will display the installation progress, which may take a few minutes to complete.

4. Upon successful installation the CoSign Verifier can be used immediately.

Instructions for installing the Root Certificate

Click here to download the RMC Certificate and when prompted, click Open. In the Certificate window, click Install Certificate. Follow the installation steps in the Certificate Import Wizard. The Certificate Installer will open and automatically choose the correct certificate store.
